Ahana was created as a reflection of the diverse communities our families come from. The name represents African, Hispanic, Asian, and Native American cultures — honoring the roots, stories, and shared values that shape how families raise their children.
While Ahana is inspired by these communities, our space is open to families of all backgrounds who value respectful learning, cultural awareness, and whole-child development.
Jamaya Peterson & Kierra Barolette are mothers who came together through shared experiences navigating education, family life, and intentional parenting. Ahana grew from a desire to create learning spaces that feel supportive, guided, and grounded — not overwhelming or isolating.
